Kabete Cares Soccer Academy was started in 2009 to nurture talent to promising children and also serve as a tool for social change for those not so talented but are interested in soccer.

Over the intervening years more than 2000 kids have received basic soccer training and mentorship through this project.

A few kids have also received academic scholarships above earning opportunities to play in national and international age category tournaments.

The academy has also produced a few players who have played in the under 20 years and seniors premier league.

MILESTONE

Visited Rwanda for international friendlier in 2010 and youth team were runners up in Kiambu District League in 2011 season while the girls team won 2010 edition of League Ndogo East African Tournament.

The under 14 years team won the Nairobi Junior World Cup which brought teams made up children draw from international community residing in Kenya .

Among the nations represented were Norway, Sweden, Japan and Kenya.
