Kabete Cares Athletics Department has worked with many upcoming and elite runners who have participated in local and international races including Kigali International Peace Marathon, Beirut International Marathon, Kilimanjaro International Marathon and Kuala Lumpur marathon to mention a few.

Through our partners Runners Paradise Expeditions and Safaris Kabete Cares has also received and donated more than 1000 running shoes to needy athletes .

The organization is also the host of “Kabete Cares Say No Drug Abuse” (since 2005) which is used to mark UN Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking every June.

Other participants in the program includes World Masters Athletics Championships and Africa masters  Athletics Championship double gold medallist 68 year old Stephen Kamande.
